Inter School Activities In January

• Inter School Sports Quiz organized by New Town School, Kolkata. Anik Sarkar of Class 6, Aryaman Kumar & Ayush Pal  of Class 8 participated
• Walk for a Cause organized by Tata Medical Center in association with NEOPWA (North East Officers and Professional Welfare Association), Kolkata. Students of classes 6 to 9 participated. 
• Apprentice Scientist’ competition followed by a workshop / interactive session with Mr. Alain Doressoundiram, a renowned Astrophysicist at the Observatory of Paris, hosted by The Future Foundation School.  Students of Class 8 participated in the competition. Our school won the 3rd prize.
• Youth camps in Germany organized by Goeth Institut to reward the students who have excelled in their studies of German language as well as the international Fit in Deutsch exams. Aakanksha Das has qualified for a youth camp to be held in St. Peter Ording II from 8th till 28th May, 2016 and Soumoneel Gupta has qualified for a children’s camp to be held in St. Andreasberg from 7th till 27th August  2016. 
• ‘I Love my India’ – a fund raising programme organized by East India Charitable Trust. Students of Class XI performed a skit.
• The Kolkata Literary Meet 2016 session at La Martiniere for Boys. Attended by students of our Creative Writing Club alongwith the teacher, Ms. Richa Wahi
• Workshop on Creative Poetry Writing conducted by Luke Kennard, a British poet at the British Council.  Attended by students Ishani Pant and Ananya Maity alongwith the Librarian, Ms. Rajani Roy. 
• Social Science Olympiad  conducted by Silver Zone Foundation. 33 students of classes 6 to 9 participated.
